Welcome to the Ilkeston Charter Fair, a storied tradition that stands as one of Europe’s most enduring and grand street festivals. This year, mark your calendars for its triumphant return from Wednesday, October 15th, to Sunday, October 19th, 2025, with the official opening ceremony on Thursday, October 16th. Join us in celebrating the timeless charm and excitement of this remarkable fair!

Opening Times
* Wed October 15th – Sun 19th 2025
* Wed 6-11pm
* Thurs – Sat 12noon – 11pm
* Official Opening Ceremony by the Mayor – Thurs 12pm (goes By the clock on St Mary’s Church)
- Sunday – 1-8pm. With SEND between 1-3pm (for no Music and Lights)

• Queen Street
• Health Centre (both stops)
- Adam Street Stop 1 - To DERBY, Church End - IF, 32, 59
- Adam Street Stop 2 - Centre - 33,34 to Heanor/West Hallam, 31 to KirkHallam
- Adam Street Stop 3 - Queen Street End - 2, 15 to Long Eaton and No 2 to Nottingham
- Stop 4/6 (West End Drive / Derby Road) - towards Cotmanhay - IF, 27, 21 and 2
