When my mum was young she worked at Walkers on South St its now the brewery tap or something like that. It's supposed to be haunted by a man called the umbrella man people have reported seeing him at the bottom of the stairs, my mum says she was terrified when she was told to get something out of the attic room,

Bulls Head Pub
My mum. and dad knew Huey and Phyllis who were landlords of The bulls head in the 70s. The landlord told them he had gone in the cellar and heard a swishing sound and saw a ghost of a bride, he said he couldn't see any feet,it was like she was floating.
This is true as told to mum

I’ve only been in the Bulls head once. Whilst there I kept feeling a cold draft on my hand and face and got the feeling like I was sat in someone’s seat!

The General Havelock pub
I lived in the flat upstairs several years ago, whilst it was unused as a pub. I always felt that there was something not right about the place, particularly down in the cellar. Hated going down there, to read meters, etc. Most uncomfortable feeling living alone in there at times. It was only 2 or 3 years after moving out I read about the place, on here.
